Son Thanh Tay organized a launching ceremony to support the northern provinces damaged by storm No. 3 (storm Yagi)

On the afternoon of September 16, 2024, the Party Committee, People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Son Thanh Tay Commune organized a launching ceremony to support people in the provinces affected by storm No. 3 (storm Yagi).

Comrade Luong Thi Hong Na, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Son Thanh Tay commune, spoke at the launch of the fundraising campaign to support the people of the North to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3 (storm Yagi).

Attending the launching ceremony were comrades: Nguyen The Hy - Member of the Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Comrade Phan Cong Thang - Deputy Secretary, Chairman of the Commune People's Committee; cadres, civil servants, non-professional activists of the commune; Board of Directors of schools, Directors of companies, enterprises, cooperatives located in the commune; organizations and individuals with goodwill. The total number of delegates attending the launching ceremony was 60 delegates. At the launching ceremony, the delegates observed a minute of silence for the people who died due to storm No. 3.

Leaders of the Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee of the commune participated in donating to support the people of the North to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3.

After a minute of silence, on behalf of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, comrade Luong Thi Hong Na - Member of the Standing Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, approved the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to participate in supporting the provinces affected by storms and floods with a support level of 01 (one) day's salary; all classes of people, agencies, units, enterprises, and religious organizations in the commune support voluntarily, depending on their ability and generosity.

Cadres, civil servants, and part-time activists of communes and villages donate to support

All donations received have been counted and announced publicly. The total amount donated at the launching ceremony was 25,000,000 VND. The entire amount will be sent to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Hoa district to deliver to people affected by storms and floods.
