On the morning of December 28, 2022, at the Hall of the People's Committee of Son Thanh Tay commune, the 5th Session (regular meeting at the end of the year) of the 13th People's Council of the commune, term 2021 - 2026 was held.

The meeting aimed to evaluate the performance of the People's Council and People's Committee of the commune in implementing the tasks of socio-economic development, national defense and security in 2022 and deploying key tasks in 2023. Attending the meeting were comrade Le Chi Hoai - Member of the Party Committee, Secretary of the Commune Party Committee, Standing member of the People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, socio-political organizations of Son Thanh Tay commune and 21 delegates of the People's Council of Son Thanh Tay commune, term XIII, term 2021-2026.

At the meeting, the People's Committee of the commune approved the report on the implementation of socio-economic, national defense and security tasks in 2022 and the state plan in 2023; report on revenue and expenditure budget in 2023. Accordingly, in 2022, although there are still many difficulties, thanks to the attention of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee of the commune, the efforts of the sectors and people in the commune, the socio-economic, national defense and security situation in the commune continues to develop and achieve certain results. The estimated value of agricultural, forestry and fishery production is 129.2 billion VND, reaching 100.7%, up 9.02% over the same period in 2021. Total budget revenue: 270,555,225 VND, reaching 77% of the district's assigned target, reaching 72% of the year's estimate assigned by the People's Council, down 64% over the same period in 2021. Total budget expenditure: 5,765,076,305 VND, reaching 104% of the district's assigned target and the year's estimate assigned by the People's Council, equal to the same period in 2021. Maintain the standard of 19 new rural criteria. The advanced new rural criteria reach 12/15 criteria. Continue to implement and supplement the records of unmet criteria, expected to reach criteria 1, 2, 13, 19 by March 2023. By June 2023, criteria 5, 14, 17 will be achieved. Guide villages to decorate and elect Village Heads for the 2022-2024 term. Organize the examination of cultural families, reaching 1,220/1,225 households, reaching a rate of 97.2%. Propose the district to recognize 7/7 cultural villages and communes that have met the new rural cultural standards for the 6th year. The medical station has performed well in examining and treating 9,234 people; 880 children under 6 years old. Health care programs have been fully implemented. Deploy the contents of Covid-19 epidemic prevention work and deploy Covid-19 vaccination for people. Organize mosquito larvae eradication to prevent dengue fever in the commune.

After 1 working day, with a high sense of responsibility, the 5th session of the People's Council of Son Thanh Tay commune was a great success, the delegates voted 100% to approve 5 Resolutions of the People's Council of the commune on the goals and tasks of the plan for 2023; Resolution on implementing the socio-economic, security and defense tasks in 2022 and the state plan for 2023; Resolution on implementing the revenue and expenditure of the budget and other finances of the commune in 2022 and the revenue and expenditure estimates for 2023; Resolution on implementing the list of works under the National target program on new rural construction for the period 2022-2025 in Son Thanh Tay commune; Resolution on the plan to use capital to implement the National target program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas for the period 2021-2025; Resolution on the Plan for organizing regular meetings in 2023 of the 13th People's Council of the commune, term 2021 - 2026./.
