On July 16, 2024, the People's Council of Son Thanh Tay commune held the 11th session (regular session in mid-2024) of the 13th People's Council, term 2021 - 2026.

Attending the meeting were comrade Le Van Muoi - Member of the District Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the District People's Council, comrade Nguyen The Hy, Member of the District Party Committee - Secretary of the Commune Party Committee, and comrades of the Standing Committee of the People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, socio-political organizations of Son Thanh Tay commune and 21 delegates of the People's Council of Son Thanh Tay commune, term XIII, 2021-2026.

The meeting aimed to evaluate the performance of the People's Council and People's Committee of the commune in implementing the tasks of socio-economic development, national defense and security in the first 6 months of the year and deploy key tasks in the last 6 months of 2024. At the meeting, the People's Committee of the commune approved the report on the implementation of socio-economic, national defense and security tasks in the first 6 months of the year and the plan for the last 6 months of 2024. Accordingly, in the first 6 months of the year, although there were many difficulties, thanks to the attention of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee of the commune, the efforts of the sectors and people in the commune, the socio-economic situation, national defense and security in the commune continued to develop and achieved certain results. The estimated value of agricultural, forestry and fishery production is 74.2 billion VND, reaching 51% of the set plan, up 5.6% over the same period in 2023. Total budget revenue: 142,928,894 VND, reaching 46.39% of the district's target, up 19.09% over the same period in 2023. Total budget expenditure: 2,751,985,970 VND, reaching 35.19% of the district's target and the annual estimate of the Commune People's Council, up 33.14% over the same period in 2023. Received 720 Tet gifts with a total amount of 257,000,000 VND. The medical station performed well in examining and treating 2,962 people; 69 children under 6 years old. Health care programs were fully implemented.

Reviewed 17-year-old youth born in 2007 and registered 17-year-old youth to the field, with 29/29 young people, reaching 100%.
